Privacy and your documents
This page explains, in plain language, what VariationCheck collects and how your documents are handled. It is written to be understood, not to serve as legal advice.
What we collect
- The details you type into the submission form: your first name, email address and, if you provide them, an approximate variation amount and a few details about the variation.
- The document you upload — normally the builder's variation, as a PDF or photo. If we later need the relevant contract or scope, we will ask for it.
How your documents are used
- Your documents are used only to assess and, if you proceed, complete your VariationCheck.
- They are never shared with your builder by VariationCheck.
- They are not published or used for marketing without your permission.
- You can request deletion at any time.
Analytics and advertising
VariationCheck uses website analytics and advertising measurement, including the Meta Pixel, to understand how the website and our campaigns perform.
Deletion requests
You can request deletion of your submission and uploaded documents at any time. Email reviews@variationcheck.au.
